We found this video on the Internet about Wyndham Resorts. My wife and I have repeatedly indicated in this blog that we have a problem with all the primarily RCI affiliated resorts that have switched to the point system.   Think about it. If you buy one deeded week at a resort you exchange for a deeded week at another resort. That’s how this exchange system was originally set up more than 20 years ago. Today with the points system you purchase a certain number of points at a particular resort depending on the size of the resort unit and the season or demand of the unit and resort. It’s almost like a bushel of shelled corn, dip your hand into the bushel and buy so many kernels of corn. When you exchange to another resort you may have to purchase more kernels of corn just to get into the other resort. Doesn’t see right, does it? But with deeded weeks you know exactly where you stand and when it comes to trading you trade your week for another week. Click this video from a Wyndham Timeshare Owner and see for yourself.
