“Vacation Ownership For Less “

An Idea Whose Time Has Come “Ownership for Less”

We reported in a February 2nd post of having attended our Annual Pelican Greens Timeshare Meeting at Breezy Point, Minnesota. This was the first time we had attended a timeshare owners meeting since the purchase of our Pelican Greens timeshare last year. By attending the meeting, we were able to meet first- hand the Board of Directors of Pelican Greens. It was very interesting. What a lot of timeshare owners don’t understand, I believe, is that the timeshare units are managed by a Board of Directors made up of unit owners who voluntarily take time out of their lives to make sure the timeshare units are maintained to 5- star status.

Besides the Board of Directors, we also met Neal Narveson,the President of the management company that manages a good share of the timeshare properties at Breezy Point International. We mentioned in an earlier page that Breezy Point has 11 different timeshare associations and each association has their own Board of Directors made up of unit owners, again volunteering their time to make sure the units are maintained in a 5 -Star status. Each Board of Directors works closely with the management company that handles the day -to -day affairs of the timeshare properties. By comparison, take a look at “The Village At Izaty’s” timeshare resort which has only one timeshare association.

What does the title in this article “Ownership for Less” have to do with Breezy Point? Well, the management company that manages Pelican Greens and some of the other timeshare associations is Narveson Management, Inc. Narveson Management Inc. in Pequot Lakes, MN is a private company categorized under Business Management Consultants. Records show that it was established in 1998 and incorporated in Minnesota. Current estimates show that this company has an annual revenue of $5 to 10 million and employs a staff of approximately 50 to 99 individuals.

Breezy Point has been in the timeshare business for well over 20 years. The resort has nearly, or over, 20,000 timeshare owners. Many timeshare owners who purchased years ago now wish to sell their timeshare units. The landscape for owners to get ripped off by Internet timeshare scams is high. So Narveson Management has come out with their own legitimate Minnesota Real Estate Brokerage, specializing in time share properties only. It is called Vacation Ownership For Less.

Minnesota’s first “timeshare only” real estate brokerage through Narveson Managemt fills a need for the re-sale of timeshare properties in Minnesota. Not only will they represent Breezy Point Timeshare  owners  but also “Causeway On Gull” owners. The “Vacation Ownership For Less” website is not fancy but serves a purpose. One requirement before listing with Narveson is that your maintenance fees must be paid-in-full before they will accept your listing. That makes sense, doesn’t it?
