Philipsburg is the capital of Dutch St. Maarten, a Caribbean island

PHILIPSBURG–It’s been almost half a year since Parliament passed the timeshare protection law, giving extensive protection to timeshare buyers by offering safety and comfort in one of the largest money-generating sectors of the country. However, the law has not yet entered into force. This is how government works even in the  Caribbean islands   Laws created for consumers even here in the USA takes forever. It means the same everywhere. Government is a slow process and sometimes is plain stupid creating jobs for bureaucrats. Nothing gets done.
