Ripped Off, It Seems To Be So Common

Is Getting Ripped Off Going To Be The Norm?

Another form of getting ripped off. More and more we see how modern day technology can do more harm than good.  If it had not been for my super intelligent grown kids, I would not have been aware of these modern day technologies that are stealing information from us every day. Our  kids, ever since their college years, have kept us abreast of technology by upgrading our computers and advising us of other devices that will keep us up -to- date.   I’ve come to the conclusion that if you don’t watch the news or know how to use the Internet, you can be the target of modern day thieves. One of the most common is the telemarketing scams that are prevalent. People are still being suckered  by telemarketers calling late at night and getting people to give their credit card information over the phone.

Malaysia’s Timeshare Industry Is Expanding

 

Tourism Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg yesterday said the vacation owner scheme, popularly known as timeshare, would extract the optimum mileage out of the state’s tourism-related assets.

“With an annual sale of about RM100 million in Malaysia’s timeshare industry alone, and with improved product features and quality customer services, the outlook for the timeshare sector remains positive amidst encouraging growth potential in the future.”

We weren’t necessarily looking to buy another timeshare vacation property since we already owned two weeks. One of these we had gotten for “free” about 8 years ago, and the 2nd week we had purchased for only $3,000 on the re-sale secondary market from a resort we had traded into about 6 years ago in Missouri. Generic Beneficiary Deeds That May Work

We have found a Generic Beneficiary Deed that May Work for most timeshare owners in most any state. We suggest that when you print this Generic Beneficiary Deed that you check with someone with legal knowledge and maybe even with your timeshare resort to make sure that your wishes will be honored in the event death.  The idea behind this type of deed is to keep it out of probate. If you can’t sell it talk to someone you know who might like to have a timeshare vacation property. I would give mine away rather than have it go through probate.
