Dial An Exchange (DAE)
Dial An Exchange (DAE) was referred to us at our annual Izaty’s timeshare owners’ meeting

on Sunday Dec. 4, 2011, as another alternative to exchanging outside of the Interval International membership program.
We were vaguely aware of DAE but hadn’t researched it. But because our association board referred us to DAE , we decided to look into it. One of the reasons was that we have had a request into Interval International since April 2011 for a West Coast resort and have not heard of any openings for July 2012. Interval International has always come through, within a short period of time, with exchanges we have requested over the last 10 years. We submitted two requests for exchange for our 2012 July vacations. One is already confirmed at Breckenridge, Colorado. But since April 2011 we have not heard of anything available on the West Coast of Oregon.
After looking at DAE’s impressive website, we decided to become members. The membership is “Free”. You do have to list the weeks or points you own. No problem there. We listed both of our Interval International affiliated resorts as possible exchange weeks that would be available.
Some of the benefits of DAE include the following;
1. Free membership option.
2. No fee until your exchange is confirmed.
3. Lower exhange fees.
4. The ability to hold a week 24 hours before you book.
5. Access to last minute bonus getaways starting as low as $99 per week.
6. The ability to place requests for inventory not currently available.
