Arizona - Cave Creek II Affiliated Resort

Arizona, Cave Creek

We highly recommend this Non-Timeshare  5 Star Resort. Enjoyed it very much

Long before the snow arrives in Minnesota we are planning our timeshare vacations in the Southwest. One of the reasons is because we have several relatives in Arizona two living in the Sedona area and one in Phoenix. Since we have two deeded weeks of timeshare we usually plan our travel using two weeks where we hope the weather is warmer. It isn’t always warmer but it sure helps shorten the winter months, plus my brothers have excellent extra accommodations to stay longer. We usually arrive a few days earlier than our check in at a timeshare resort and stay at my brother’s non-timeshare resort called Oak Creek Terrace.

A Great Resort to Stay At in "Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona, Az

This is really a neat resort because it is in the canyon about 4 miles up the winding road from the tourist area of Sedona. It is also the main canyon road between Flagstaff, Az and Sedona. If you want to tour Oak Creek Canyon have your camera out. This is also the area where Southern Arizona people travel to to get out of the summer heat. It is usually 15 degrees cooler in the Canyon area. Book early if you want to stay here.

After a few days staying at Oak Creek Terrace we drove the two hours from Sedona, Az to Cave Creek. This was in January 2010. We chose Cave Creek as our exchange. It is a small well maintained 5 Star Resort affiliated with the Starwood Resort system. We had a 2 Bedroom timeshare unit with privacy walls

The entrance to our two story Cave Creek, Az timeshare unit just outside of the privacy area.

Nice privacy walls for visiting between the units.

What was nice about this small well designed resort, it was within 2 blocks of the main tourist area of Cave Creeks main street. In other words with in easy walking distance. My sister-in-law was able to ride her mobility scooter from the resort to main street easily. Because of the time of the year we were there it was also very quiet.
