Well, by now most of you know from reading our Timeshare Blog that we are very partial to deeded timeshare weeks and the Intervalworld exchange system.

Last week we enjoyed a wonderful January 2011 timeshare week at the Sheraton Desert Oasis and we loved every minute of it. All good things must come to a end however.

It seems that the larger hotel resort chains are going more and more towards the point system. We went through the Sheraton’s sales presentation and actually enjoyed the visit with the salesperson. Had we not owned two deeded weeks we may have taken advantage of the StarwoodVacationOwnership program.

But we managed to find another timeshare resort here for the last 4 days at Sedona, AZ. It is a RCI affiliated resort, compliments of my brother Lowell Johnson who owns Oak Creek Terrace in Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona, AZ.

This RCI affiliated resort is rated as a Gold Crown resort. We have to admit that it is a 5 Star facility.

Arroyo Roble Timeshare Condos - Sedona, Az - 2011

We were here as a guest of my brother so we were not required to go through a sales presentation. Arroyo Roble is a older resort and only have timeshare re-sales available. We were not approached to go through a presentation. We did not check into the resale market of their units but heard the units were somewhere in the $7,000 range. We are including a couple Arroyo Roble pictures for anyone interested. The location of this resort is just below the main tourist drive of Sedona, AZ. A perfect location for people who would enjoy this area.

Here is a photo of the inside of the 2 bedroom unit we stayed in and and it was great! Arroyo Roble is well managed for a older timeshare resort.
