The leader of a timeshare scam was sentenced to prison Wednesday, Feb. 27

Timeshare Scammer & Associates Caught!

Fine! But you tell me whether you think the scammed timeshare owners will ever see a dime.  Right!

Daniel Martin Boyar, or “Wolf”, of Orlando, Florida, has been sentenced to more than five years in prison as the leader of a timeshare resale fraud scam that caused over $3 million in losses.

New Mexico – Out Of State Scammers Preying On Timeshare Owners!

Unlicensed scammers claiming to represent full service property management, real estate brokerage or title and escrow companies that list and sell timeshares are soliciting upfront fees from timeshare owners who want to list their fractional ownerships for sale. The problem is that the timeshares are never actually listed for sale and the fees are gone eternally .

” We have received a upsurge of inquiries from consumers who have been contacted by a company that represents itself as R-5 Realty. R-5 Realty is not licensed by the real estate commission ,” said Mike Unthank, superintendent of the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department. Unthank went on to say that” Timeshare fraud is a serious crime, which can cost consumers thousands of dollars .”

LAS CRUCES – Selling timeshares without a real estate license is a felony in New Mexico, but that’s not stopping out-of-state scammers from preying on unsuspecting timeshare owners, according to a Feb. 23 bulletin from the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department.

Timeshare Appraisal Scam With Tax Implications Land A Con In Trouble

April 1, 2017

It’s so irritating to see these scams after many timeshare owners have been taken. This person preformed over 5,000 timeshare appraisals with the intent of advising the timeshare owner that the timeshare owner will get appraisal values as a write-off through IRS deductions. In this case this person or persons took in over $617,000 in 3 yrs. A nice income, wouldn’t you say. But eventually the law caught up with him. Click Here For the Article and how the scheme worked. For the record: No timeshare for Dave Ramsey

This short article was about someone who had sat in a timeshare presentation as a favor to their parents.  They in turn write a letter  to  Dave Ramsey, a financial guru, about what the timeshare salesman said.
