(Another II affiliated resort that we highly recommend for families)
Pretty soon most of you reading our evaluations of these resorts will begin to think that we are on the payroll of the resorts we have stayed at and have bragged about. It’s not true. We have had great experiences at these resorts. We do, however, let you know of any short comings, if there are any.
Well, this article is about our 2008 timeshare vacation at this 5 Star 1nterval International affiliated resort called Westgate Branson Woods, Branson, Missouri. Since my wife and I live in Minnesota, the resort was only 700 miles from our home. This trip was going to be extra special because our daughter was going with us, and we were going to meet up with my 4 brothers and their wives in Branson. They were going to be driving their motor homes to Branson from Arizona, Oregon, and North Dakota. We traveled to Branson pulling, on a trailer, a Burgman 400 motor scooter

owned by our daughter. We were looking forward to traveling the hills of Missouri, which- by the way, is a great way of getting around on the twisting, hilly roads of Missouri.
Westgate Branson Woods is featured as located on 145 acres of forested countryside with winding trails, a covered outdoor pavilion, an Olympic-sized outdoor swimming pool, indoor pool, fitness center, horseshoes, volleyball, shuffleboard, and basketball. Villas are equipped with kitchens, fireplaces, whirlpools, and private decks. The resort is just a few minutes drive from Branson’s famous West Highway 76 “Strip”.
The traffic on the famous West Highway 76 "Strip" in Branson can be really heavy during the summer, but moves along pretty well. This is one of the main roads in town.
Branson offers more than 70 choices of live shows, theme parks, lake activities, historical attractions, factory outlets, and other family venues. Well, when you read a description like this, who wouldn’t want to go there.
One of the best indicators of a quality resort, besides the lobby, is the entrance to the resort. This is a picture at the security building before entering the resort.

We were really impressed to see this.
Now our next step was driving up the hill from the security building to the check-in building. WOW!
Folks! This is the main building you will check into at Westgte Branson Woods initially.

OK, follow us to the “Cabin” we requested in the exchange through Interval International and which we got for the week. WOW!
This is just one of the different types of timeshare units on this resort. We were very excited. Our daughter had her own lock off unit.
Once again we are excited. This cabin was located behind the main check-in building you saw in the picture above and was on a tree- lined drive.

There is so much to see and do in Branson, MO it is hard to include it in one blog. So, I will include a few more pictures of things you can do on this fabulous resort . The resort has a club house, wine and cheese was offered one afternoon,

Beautiful grounds, horseshoe, volley ball, swimming pools, shuffle board, etc.
For anyone interested in visiting this resort as an exchange timeshare owner, you will find everything you would want in a great vacation for family and friends. It is located up on a hill away from the hustle and bustle of the main street of Branson. But it is within blocks of the entertainment area of Branson. You have the best of everything you would want in a vacation. Peace and quiet on the resort plus all the activities you would want for you and your family. Your kids would not lack for anything. They have activity directors on-site.
