Marriott’s Manor Club – A Luxury Dream Vacation
This is going to be a difficult article to write. It is the story of our Interval International exchange timeshare visit to Marriott’s Manor Club at Ford’s Colony, Williamsburg, Virginia in June 2003. Why, because it was a luxury vacation beyond our dreams had it not been for owning a timeshare vacation property. Had it not been for timeshare we would have had to stay in very expensive or mediocre motel rooms.
Here is how the Interval International Directory described Marriott’s Manor Club and why we decided to see if we could exchange into it. “The resort is located within Ford’s Colony, a 2,500 acre community near Colonial Williamsburg. Guests can enjoy 54 holes of championship golf designed by the legendary Dan Maples and the award-winning Dining Room at Ford’s Colony.
The resort features elegantly appointed villas and private screened-in porches overlooking golf course fairways and gardens. Amenities include a game room, day spa, clubhouse, movie theater, exercise rooms, steam rooms, whirlpool, tennis courts, an indoor pool, two outdoor pools, shuffleboard, jogging and biking trails, bike rentals, convenience store, and Pizza Hut Express.
