Los Abrigados Resort – “Loved our stay, timeshare sales complaints” – April 2017…

April 2017

We had a 2 bedroom suite. The beds were so comfortable and our unit seemed to have been remodeled and extremely spacious. We could have stayed there much longer than the 5 nights we booked and would definitely go back. We would have appreciated some notice for our housekeeping day. She told us she couldn’t make our beds because we had some personal items on them. The pool was well heated and the grounds are very nice. My biggest complaint are the underhanded sales techniques for the timeshare. We had a call during our service to ask if we needed more coffee or towels. We said no, but my parents who were staying in another unit said yes. They thought housekeeping would be delivering this, but a guy in a suit showed up and tried to guilt them into a meeting. When they called us, the guy lied to my husband and said I expressed interest in setting up a special breakfast to hear ‘the talk”. I definitely did not, and if they need to lie to us to get us to meet with them, then I guess their program isn’t a good deal. Not a good way to try and start a business relationship.

Retired with many years of timeshare experiences. My wife and I love our timeshare vacations. We are trying to educate the public on the value of timeshare vacation properties, providing the timeshare properties are deeded and purchased on the resale market. That's where the real value is.
