Having a Kitchen and a Separate Living Area Greatly Improves the Quality of a Vacation
In comparison to the cramped quarters of a hotel room, a timeshare provided with additional and needed room for families to spread out–for both durations together and season alone.
In fact, this has been proven in a recent research from ARDA and conducted by Leger, which showed that 89 percent of respondents who had a kitchen on their last vacation said it improved their vacation experience while 87 percent said that having a separate living place likewise led to a better vacation.
Fifty percent say they used their kitchen every day during the course of their vacations.
Having an in-unit kitchen can help you save money and eat healthier on your vacation.
Cooking fun dinners instead of dining out for every meal.
Having the ability to prepare healthy foods.
Having leftovers from one meal to the next saves eating out and dressing up
It’s more relaxing and fun just being yourselves
The results of this survey are clear, having an in-unit kitchen and an extra living space in your vacation accommodations can enormously improve your vacation. So, the next time you are thinking about traveling consider timeshare rentals.
It’s also part of a move by the vacation ownership company to lure younger travelers. To do so, Bluegreen is seeking to expand into hip locations offering the types of activities and experiences that millennials may enjoy.
Bluegreen works on a points basis, in which owners buy points to gain access to the company’s properties. The more points owned, the more access a vacation owner has to top properties at peak times. The starting buy-in for points ranges from $10,000 to $15,000, officials said. Points can be carried over to another year, and owners can buy additional points, too.
We here at timesharefun.com are not advocates of the “Points Program” in the timeshare history. We prefer deeded timeshare weeks. Points is buying air as far as we are concerned. Also, the resale market is where you want to be if you are considering buying a timeshare property. Check out Tug2.net, Vacationownershipforless.com .
The Business of Timeshares On The (Las Vegas Strip)!
Very Simple – Understand How It Works
Timeshares are joint ownership properties where everyday people can lock in a temporary vacation home annually for a fraction of the cost. On the Vegas Strip, this product is sold daily to thousands who visit on vacation or a quick get away. In our last trip, we realized that timeshare companies are able to spend $1 and get $10 back.
Here’s how they do it:
1. They purchase wholesale tickets to activities that tourists are most interested in i.e. Dinners, Shows and Casino Access.
2. They employ performance based marketing agencies to promote their offer on the Vegas Strip.
This is a well written article from the author who purchased his timeshare on the resale market. It’s worth your time if you are considering a deeded timeshare week. Check it out.
Mention the word timeshare and many people will be looking for the nearest exit. Timeshare sales stir up memories of encounters disguised as free breakfasts in Mexico or presentations that were an unwelcome part of a discounted resort stay. Click here to read.

(upbeat music) – Thank you for joining us, this is Travel Top Five.
We’re talking about our top tips for when you’re visiting Cancun and Riviera Maya.
We each have our top five, and we’ll be going one at a time giving our best tips, so the number five. I’m sorry, let me introduce. We got Jackie here, – Hi! – And this is Tara, and I’m Philip. – Hey! – Okay, Jackie, what is your number five tip? – My number five tip will be to bring sunscreen or any type of toiletries, just because the stores at the resort will overprice these items, and it’s just better to bring it with you, because that way you’ll save a lot of money. (laughs) – You are absolutely correct.
They really jack up the prices for that stuff. – Last time I was at a Riviera Maya resort, sunscreen was, no joke, $15. – Ouch! Ouch, ouch, ouch! – Just bring it! – Mine can be a little bit related to that as far as pricing goes. When we go on vacation, my wife and I, we love to get massages, and if you’re on the property, you’re gonna pay 150, 180, $190 for a 15 minute massage. If you want to survive a timeshare presentation, make sure to keep this in mind.
Go ahead and take the freebie.
If you have ever been on a nice vacation at a really great resort, there’s a good chance that someone has invited you to come and sit through a presentation.
The people who put up these timeshare presentations rely on the law of averages (which, by the way, is quite often on their side). Next time you get offered a gift during a timeshare presentation, go ahead and take it.
Buying a timeshare means getting money out of your wallet to pay the company that offers it.
Even if you don’t buy or promise to buy anything, don’t feel guilty. You’re not actually taking away a huge cost from these salespeople because the freebies are part of their marketing strategy and are already factored into the costs of producing the presentation.
Remember that when you buy a timeshare, you’re actually buying a long-term investment. And since most of the advantages of buying a timeshare rides on how regularly you or someone you know takes a vacation, you might not really want a timeshare because you don’t really need it.
Before you take a vacation, try to research about any possible timeshare presentations that you might come across with while you’re at the resort. That way, you’ll find one that offers you the best opportunity at a schedule that is the most convenient for you. Is it to browse available real property for future purchase or maybe you just want to sit through it so you could qualify for the gift or discount at the end of the pitch?

Timeshare and Travel Games For Kids And Adults – Learn While Traveling
From our many years of experience we have found that kids of all ages get restless when traveling. It does not matter the distance. What we did over the years was entertain them with games while traveling, especially by car.
We have 3 deeded timeshare vacation weeks. Two are here in Minnesota and one is in Missouri, a 700 mile trip one way by car. As the years went by and they got older it became more challenging to keep up with what our kids were interested in.

Deeded timeshare vs Points Timeshare This is our opinion only of Deeded timeshare vs Points timeshare programs. Think about it before making your decision to invest in a timeshare property. The original concept was a deeded title of ownership for a week of vacation time at a particular resort that you would own, just like your home. You own it, period! You would be able to use it, rent it or sell it. This is what we like and what we own. In recent years someone came up with a points concept. You own so many points based on the vacation demand of a particular resort, the season value at that particular resort etc, etc. You would still have to pay maintenance fees on the number of points someone decided your resort was worth. Who is that someone? We have been to maybe 20 presentations, the most recent was in June 2013, this year. Now, this is where it gets confusing. The sales pitch now includes using points for airfare and other items no longer within the scope of deeded timeshare. So, where is this all going? If your points at a particular resort gives you one week vacation every year but you use some of those points for airfare and other items being sold in the presentation, does that not cut down on the value of the original concept of deeded timeshare vacation property?Folks, the Points program really sounds great and if you have never been to a timeshare vacation you can easily be sold, so watch out. **My wife and I have 3 deeded timeshare vacation weeks and we have never been disappointed in using and exchanging our original deeded concept weeks. –

Timeshare Vacation at Lake Tahoe, NV. Timeshare Points And The Unrealistic Logic Of It! – A Personal Opinion!
I want to repeat that this is my personal opinion only. You can make your own decision about Timeshare Points and Deeded Weeks.
This is a logical approach and very simple in the opinion of my wife and I. We own 3 deeded timeshare vacation weeks. Think about it. The original concept was to purchase one week’s vacation in a one or two bedroom cabin, condo or whatever, wherein you and your family could look forward to a dedicated one week vacation with your family or friends every year.
You get ownership and title to that one week just like your own home. You pick the week and you own it. 52 weeks in a calender year and 51 weeks actually sold leaving one week every year for routine updating and maintenance. Sounds simple, doesn’t it? Outside of owning that week you could join an outside affiliated association, for an extra fee, so you could exchange your week for what’s available anywhere in the world. That’s called banking your week with that outside affiliated association to take two weeks every other year if you so desired. Works pretty good. Well, it has for my wife and I for the last 13 years. We love our timeshare deeded weeks.
Now Timeshare Points comes along.
In our opinion this is a huge money maker for RCI, Wyndham, Hilton, Westgate and other resorts. Take a look at some of the videos below and see if you don’t agree.
For example: Today they sell points that apply to almost everything you can imagine. It leaves out deeded specific weeks. You are sold timeshare points based some of the following ideas the timeshare industry cooked up:
1. So many points starting out with a one bedroom efficiency.
2. So many points based on a one bedroom unit
3. So many points based on a two bedroom unit
4. So many points based on a high demand season at the resort you are receiving the presentation
5. So many points based on a medium demand season at the same resort
6. So many points based on a low demand season at the same resort
7. So many points if you use only 1-2 days at a resort
8. So many points if you want to use a motel, or a room within the same resort Note: So many points for this and so many points for that – it would make your head swim. And if you don’t have enough points you can buy more points to upgrade.
9. Another thing, these points are not cheap. You also have to pay maintenance fee’s based on points as if you owned a deeded timeshare week.
Now, my wife and I purchased all three deeded weeks on the resale market for a total investment of only $3,401 over the years. We have never had any trouble exchanging to other 5 star timeshare resorts all over the U.S.
We believe if you purchase a timeshare deeded week with no points involved, on the resale market, you will be much happier. Check out ebay, amazon and tug2net.com at smaller non-franchised 5 star resorts. There are some outstanding buys for as little as $1.00 and maybe or maybe not closing cost. Anyway, that’s our opinion, you decide!

After watching the video below, my wife and I decided we had to visit Park City, Utah using one of our timeshare vacation weeks. This video is worth watching if you are planning your next timeshare vacation. It outlines very effectively all of the activities available whether you are planning your vacation for summer or winter.
If you don’t own timeshare and get the urge to go, after seeing this video, which was produced professionally, you might want to check airline and motel accommodations through a couple of different sources such as; findcheaphotels.co or hotelandresortnetwork.com .
After watching the video we think you will agree with our assessment. We plan on having some timesharefun in Park City, Utah.
